Northwest Florida boasts approximately 26 miles of tidal shoreline. However, the 26-mile stretch of coast that parallels a modest country road known as Scenic Highway 30A (or affectionately and simply referred to as “30A” by locals and visitors) isn’t like the rest of the Panhandle. Instead, it has been described as a big, happy extended family, a string of beach communities nestled along the Gulf of Mexico, each with its own unique personality.
